NEWARK ? Zella Parrill Renner, 78, of The Chapel Grove Inn, Heath, Ohio died Saturday evening, May 22, 2004 at her residence. Born May 5, 1926 in Newark, she was the daughter of the late H. V. and Jesse P. (Stotts) Renner and was a graduate of Newark High School. Ms. Renner, well known for her cooking and hospitality, was the former manager of the old Zane Motel Restaurant and she more recently operated the deli department for the Public Store in Florida. She was a member of the Cherry Valley Family Life Center; the Red Hat Society; was a past member of Madison Grange and the Children?s Foundation of Bradenton, Florida. She was loved and will be missed by many. Surviving are her former husband and friend, Edward Parrill of Nashport; four sons, Jack Parrill and Joe Parrill, both of Tampa, Florida, Mike (Debbie) Parrill of New Albany, Ohio, and Jesse (Pam) Parrill of Frazeysburg, Ohio; four daughters, Pam (Don) Mox and Betsy (Kenny) McPherson, both of Nashport, Ohio and Roxanne (Larry) Levingston and Luellen Felumlee, both of Hanover, Ohio; two sisters, Irma (Fred) Irwin of Gratiot, Ohio and Dorothy Palm of Newark; one sister in-law, Florence Renner of Jacksontown, Ohio; twenty-six grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ralph Parrill, three grandsons, Dominic and Donald Mox and Charles R. Parrill; and ten brothers and sisters. Calling hours will be from 5 to 8pm Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 1850 West Main Street, Newark. Funeral services will be at 11:00am Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at the funeral home with the Rev. Don Hill officiating. Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cherry Valley Family Life Center or to The Chapel Grove Inn.
