William J. ?Bill? Moran, 62 of Trinway died Saturday November 2, 2002 at Genesis Bethesda, Zanesville, Ohio. Mr. Moran was born October 6, 1940 in Dresden, Ohio to June (Hardesty) Moran of West Lafayette, Ohio and the late William H. Moran. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 37 years Becky (Burrier) Moran whom he married May 27, 1965; daughters, CeCe (Mike) Peters of Lancaster; Sharon (Warren) Adams of Heath; son, Michael Moran of Trinway; grandchildren, Andrea Newsom, Brandin Peters, Austin, Aric and Amanda Adams; special daughter Ericka Greene of Dresden and best friends, John Alfred and Kenny Albright. Mr. Moran retired from the U.S. Army in 1977 as a Sgt. First Class and served in Vietnam. He was also employed by the Muskingum Mining Company until 1985. Mr. Moran loved his family and the outdoors. He enjoyed trains, NASCAR, Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns and working on older cars,. He liked country music and played the guitar. Friends may call Tuesday November 5, 2002 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Vensil & Orr Funeral Home in Dresden. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral Home with Pastor Valerie Johnson officiating.
