William H. "Bill" Wagner, 82, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Thursday evening, April 5, 2018 at The Oaks at Northpointe in Zanesville, Ohio.
Born October 29, 1935 near Zanesville, he was a son of the late Walter Everett and Helen (Sensibaugh) Wagner. Mr. Wagner attended the Dresden United Methodist Church. Bill was a farmer and a retired self-employed truck driver. He also worked several years for Cass Township of Muskingum County. His hobby was working and taking care of his farm.
Surviving is his loving wife of 64 years, Ada M. (Prince) Wagner whom he married February 12, 1954; a granddaughter, Aimee Wagner Ross and her fiancé, Jimmy Newman; four great grandchildren, Bree and Kurt Ross, Beau and Lauren Newman and a daughter in-law, Sue Wagner of Frazeysburg. Also surviving is one brother, Robert Wagner of Dresden, one sister, Evelyn Somerville of Idaho and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Russell L. Wagner who died November 30, 2017; a granddaughter, Angie Lee Wagner who died October 7, 1995, a grandson, Kurt Bryan Wagner who died September 24, 1996 and three brothers, Everett, Francis and George Wagner.
Calling hours will be 2pm to 5pm Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, April 9, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.
