DRESDEN – William W. Bissett, 78, of Conesville, Ohio died Thursday morning, October 6, 2011 at Autumn Health Care Center in Coshocton, Ohio.
Born March 8, 1933 in Zanesville, Ohio he was the son of the late George and Esther (Porter) Bissett. Mr. Bissett was a heavy equipment operator with several companies, most recently with JTM Company of Conesville. He was a member of the Otsego Baptist Church and was an avid fisherman.
Surviving is his wife, Geneva (Morrow) Bissett whom he married July 28, 1956; three sons, Rick Bissett of North Carolina, Steven Carl (Brenda) Bissett and John Anthony (Renee Harrison) Bissett, both of Coshocton; two daughters, Brenda (John) Fowler of Coshocton and Debra Leanne (Tom) Robison of Conesville; one brother, Bernard (Elaine) Bissett of Adamsville, Ohio; two sisters, Dorothy Schwinn of Moundsville, West Virginia and Delores Young of Zanesville; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister and one grandchild.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Monday, October 10, 2011 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Otsego Baptist Church in Otsego with the Rev. Jerry Wade officiating. Burial will be in the Otsego Baptist Church Cemetery.
