William M. "Bill" Wisecarver, 85, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Saturday evening, April 9, 2022 at his home.

Born June 20, 1936 in Zanesville Ohio, he was a son of the late Chalmer and Hazel (King) Wisecarver and he attended Dresden Jefferson High School.  Bill retired from American Aggregate after 29 years of service where he was the plant operator.  He was a member of the Licking Valley Coon Hunter's Association and enjoyed hunting and going to field trials.  He also loved water racing and being with his family.

Surviving is he loving wife of over 66 years, Delores "Peanut" (Whyde) Wisecarver whom he married August 27, 1955; two sons, Barry (Donna) Wisecarver and Rex (Christina) Wisecarver, both of Frazeysburg; two daughters, Martha (James) Ashcraft and Tina Wiles, both of Frazeysburg; ten grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.  Also surviving are three sisters, Mary (Fred) Ohl of Duncan Falls, Ohio; Helen Jennings and Donna (Dave) Gleckler, both of North Carolina.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Edwin Wisecarver; a sister Frances McCoid and a granddaughter, Tiffany Wisecarver.

Calling hours will be 11:00am to 1:00pm Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Minister Sam Dunn officiating.  Bill will be laid to rest in Dresden Cemetery.
