A graveside service for William P. Athey, Jr. will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2022 at Wilson Cemetery.

Mr. Athey died unexpectedly Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Licking Memorial Hospital.  He was born August 27, 1945 in Newark, OH to the late William P. Athey, Sr. and Ruth E. (Duff) Athey.

Survivors include his children, Brian (Heather) Athey, William (Britt) Athey, Matt Athey, Dustin Athey and Yvette Athey; brothers and sisters, Fred (Jean) Athey, Kelly Athey, Danny Athey, Donnie Athey, Marlene Lacknett, Charlene Marmie, Darlene Ruble and Vicky Dodrill; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Athey was preceded in death by brothers, Steven Athey, Doug Athey; and a sister, Sharon Martin.

No visitation will be observed.
