FRAZEYSBURG - William W. ?Bill? Arnold, 85, of Frazeysburg, died Saturday evening October 28, 2006 at the Muskingum County Home. Mr. Arnold was born May 8, 1921 in Adamsville, a son of the late Howard C. and Anna L. (Hawk) Arnold. He was a 1942 graduate of Adamsville High School and moved to Frazeysburg that same year. A life long farmer, he was a member of various agricultural organizations and committees. He loved his family, was a friend to everyone and was kind and generous to anyone in need. He was an active member of the Coburn U. Methodist Church in Zanesville. Surviving are his wife, Jean K. (Kinney) Arnold, whom he married June 25, 1955; a daughter, Leann Shokery of Gahanna, a son, Gail (Marie) Arnold of Frazeysburg; grandchildren, Andrea and Adam Shokery, step grandson, Nic Rine; sisters, Doris Jones of Nashport, Ruth Leachman of Arizona; two nephews, Bill and Jay Leachman and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Eloise (Reed) Arnold. Friends may call 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home Funeral services will be at 2:00pm Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at the funeral home with the Rev. Doris Flynn officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer?s Assoc. or the Coburn U. Methodist Church; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
