Obituary

FRAZEYSBURG ? Wilda I. Morgan, 99, of Perryton, Ohio died Monday afternoon, October 19, 2009 at her residence where she had made her home for over 80 years. Born April 13, 1910 in Lebanon, Ohio, near Lower Salem in Monroe County, she was the daughter of the late Otto Eugene and Myrtle Marie (Yerian) Hunter. She was a member of the Perryton Church of Christ for over 75 years. Wilda claimed to be just a ?homemaker?, but all who knew her realized that she was much more. She was ?grandmother? to the entire community and her life was an inspiration to all. She loved to crochet and quilt and nearly all of her family and many in the community were blessed with a ?personal quilt? of their own, lovingly made by Wilda. Surviving is one son and daughter in-law, William and Judy Morgan of Perryton; a daughter in-law, Nonnie Morgan of Perryton; five grandchildren, Susan (Larry) Ables of Newark, Greg (Deborah) Morgan of Granville, Lori Dorsey Amos of Nashport, Darren (Andrea) Morgan of Lewis Center, Ohio and Amanda Morgan of Perryton; eleven great grandchildren, Justin (Leslie) Morgan, Brian (Keri) Morgan, Alex Morgan, Kendra Morgan, Mitchell Morgan, Whitney Amos, Trevor Amos, Shelby Amos, Ashley Fowler, Morgan (Bill) Evans and Tyler Ables; three great great grandchildren, Ellie Morgan, Saylor Morgan and Kaleb Fowler; a granddaughter in-law, Tina Dorsey of Nashport; a special family friend, Lisa Moore of Zanesville and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eurie L. Morgan, whom she married June 30, 1928 and who died December 26, 1970; a daughter, Dorothy Dorsey who died October 15, 1979; a son Eurie Lee Morgan who died August 31, 2006; a brother, Nova ?Bud? Hunter; a sister, Grace Baughman; a grandson, Brent Dorsey; and a special friend and sister in-law, Myrtle May Morgan. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 9pm Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, October 23, 2009 at the funeral home with Ministers Stanley Radcliff and Craig Mulpas officiating. Burial will be in Perryton Cemetery.
