Wava C. Taylor, 79, of Zanesville, Ohio went to be with her Lord on Saturday morning, January 21, 2017 at the home of her daughter in Nashport, Ohio.
Born September 13, 1937 in Zanesville, she was a daughter of the late Lydel and Edna (Shroyer) Jordan and was a graduate Adamsville High School. She was retired from Essex Wire/Lear Corporation with over 30 years of services. Mrs. Taylor loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing. She also liked sitting in the Zanesville Mall and watching people walk by.
Surviving is one daughter, Tammy Lane of Nashport; five grandchildren, Kristin (Austin) Judson, Jordan (Joe) Swope, Jesse Taylor, Shayne Mohler and Dakota Lane; eleven great grandchildren; two brothers, Leonard (Kaye) Jordan of Zanesville and Bernard (Jessie) Jordan of Temecula, California and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her very best friend, Esther Green of Zanesville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Jordan and a sister Irene Foster.
Calling hours will be from 11am to 1pm Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the funeral home with Pastors Mike and Melody Foster officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.
