Obituary
FRAZEYSBURG – Wava E. Norman, 92, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Tuesday morning, July 26 at Genesis Morrison House, Zanesville, Ohio.
Born August 25, 1918 in Belle Valley, Noble County, Ohio she was the daughter of the late John W. and Olga G. (Marquis) McCutcheon and was a homemaker. Mrs. Norman was a member of the Frazeysburg Presbyterian Church and was a well-known quilter. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch with her best friend, the late Grace Johnston, and visiting with friends.
Surviving is a sister in-law, Opal Gould of Dresden and a brother in-law and sister in-law, Bob and Eva Norman of Frazeysburg and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Norman whom she married August 24, 1940 and who died June 22, 1981; a brother Carlos E. McCutcheon and a sister, Juanita L. Price.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8pm Friday, July 29, 2011 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the funeral home with the Rev. James Story officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
