Warren Calvin Wright, 79, of Newark, Ohio peacefully left this earth Wednesday afternoon, November 13, 2019 with his loving family at his side.

Born May 25, 1940 in Newark he was the son of the late George and Dollie (Osborn) Wright and was a 1958 graduate of Hanover-Toboso High School.  Warren was still actively farming his family farm, which is now in its seventh generation of beef and dairy farming near Hanover, Ohio.  He was also a school bus driver for Licking Valley Schools for 32 years.  Warren was active in 4-H, he was a former Perry Township Trustee and he enjoyed working on Allis-Chalmers tractors.

Surviving is his loving wife of 49 years, Vicky L. (Wills) Wright whom he married July 20, 1970; a son James (Betsy) Wright of Newark; three daughters, Alverta (Steve) Brown of Marengo, Ohio, Bonnie (Michael) Sheets of Pataskala, Ohio and Corinne (Chad) Garner of Westerville, Ohio.  He also left many loving memories with ten grandchildren.

There will be no public calling hours or funeral services.  A private family memorial service will be held at a later date on the family farm.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army of Newark or to the Licking County Humane Society.

The tractor has come to a halt;

No cattle are grazing;

No sheep to be sheared;

No eggs will be gathered;

No more cows to be milked;

The farmers day has ended.

The dinner bell will no longer ring;

Bales of hay will no longer be seen;

And plows will no longer plow;

No more fences to mend;

Dawn to Dusk work no more;

No more dirty boots by the door;

This farmers day has ended;

And a new farmers day will begin.
