A Celebration of Life service for Wanda I. Hickman, 80 of Newark will be held Friday, February 11, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Jane Hablitzel officiating. A visitation will be observed from 5 pm to 7 pm prior to the service.

Wanda passed away Tuesday February 8, 2022 at her residence. She was born May 14, 1941 in Fairfield County to Robert and Carrie (Franks) Moats.

Her favorite activities included Bingo, Tri-Dominos, word search puzzles and card games. She was especially happy spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Deborah (Greg) James, Diana (Paul) Lake, Darla Hickman (Donivan "Ray" Moran), David Hickman all of Newark; grandchildren, Trevor Lake, Joe Marple, Natalie Keen, Amber Peters, Tyler James; three great-grandchildren, including Micha Keen and Montana Clark.
