Obituary

A funeral service for Wanda M. Drumm, 96 of Newark will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Rev. John Harra officiating. Private burial will be at Poplar Forks Cemetery. Wanda died Sunday, March 2, 2008 at L.P.N Healthcare Facility. She was born November 6, 1911 in Sisterville, W.Va. to the late Purley and Ada (Tustin) Smith. She was a member of the Neal Avenue United Methodist Church. Wanda had worked as a secretary for Bucklew Construction and retired in 1986 from Saga Food Service at Denison University. She is survived by her daughter, Sue (John) Ricciardo of Newark; grandchildren, Cami (Jeff) Lucovsky, and John David Ricciardo; and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Wayne Drumm, whom she married September 6, 1941; and four brothers. Friends may visit from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd SE, Newark, Ohio 43055-9925.
