Obituary

Walter E. Wisecarver, 79, of Adamsville died at 12:30PM Thursday June 30, 2005 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. Mr. Wisecarver was born December 18, 1925 in Adamsville, a son of the late Lemert V. and Dorothy V. (Virts) Wisecarver. He had attended Adamsville Schools and was a WWII veteran of the US Navy. Mr. Wisecarver was retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation District 5 as a supervisor where he had worked for 30 years. He was a member of the Adamsville U. Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mary L. (Warren) Wisecarver, whom he married February 15, 1947; daughter, Linda (Roy) Cooper of Zanesville, son, Bill (Glennda) Wisecarver of Dresden, grandchildren, Pastor Jim (Shannon) Cooper of Kilbuck, Rick (Christy) Cooper of Dresden, Angie (Jason) Haren of Zanesville, Taylor and Brooke Wisecarver great grandchildren, Chase and Jaydn Cooper, Rachel, Hannah and Lydia Cooper, his sister-in-law Betty Wisecarver of Adamsville, several nieces and nephews and many friends. A brother, L. Wayne Wisecarver on March 12, 1995, preceded him in death. Friends may call 5-8PM Tuesday July 5, 2005 at the Adamsville Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, where services will be held at 10AM Wednesday July 6, 2005 with Pastor Bracken Foster and Pastor Carl Chrisman officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Adamsville Community Fire Dept. Squad and Rescue, P.O. Box 305, Adamsville, OH 43802.
