Dean Devore, 57, of 14455 T.R. 71, Dresden, died Sunday afternoon May 26, 2002 at his home while working with livestock on his farm.Mr. Devore was born November 9, 1944 in Fayette County, Illinois, a son of the late James and Rotha Devore. He was a veteran of the US Army Reserves and worked at AEP in Conesville. A member of Dresden Lodge F.&A.M., he was a past master of the Lodge where his three sons are seated in the East, West and South.Surviving are his wife, Sharon Lee (Bray) Devore, who he married March 6, 1970; three sons, Tad Alan (Tasha) Devore of Nashport, Timothy Scott Devore of Dresden, Tracy Dean (Melissa) Devore of Dresden; two grandchildren, Sophie Ann Devore and Sadie Lee Devore, three sisters, Lois (Gerald) Goodin of Mulberry Grove, Ill, Ruth Ennen of Vandalia, Ill, Rose (Ted) Harpstreit of Lake Mary, Florida; three brothers, Harold (Jo Ann) Devore of Indianapolis, Joe (Shirley) Devore of Mulberry Grove, Ill, Archie (Gail) Devore of Pleasant Hope, Missouri, and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by three infant brothers, and brothers, Mel & Dale Devore.Friends may call 5pm-8pm Wednesday May 29, 2002 at the Vensil&Orr Funeral Home in Dresden.
