FRAZEYSBURG ? W. Bronson Blizzard, 76, of Frazeysburg, Ohio went to his heavenly home at 11:15pm Sunday, November 13, 2005. Born August 18, 1929 in Frazeysburg, he was the son of the late Wilmer B. and Lala Florence (Evans) Blizzard and was a 1950 graduate of Frazeysburg High School. Mr. Blizzard was an Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and he was a retired employee of Buckeye Pipeline Company and Ohio Oil Gatherings. He was a member of Grace Community Church of Zanesville and was a lifetime member of Wakatomika Post #6193, VFW of Frazeysburg. He served as a member of the Frazeysburg Volunteer Fire Department from 1955 to 1965 and was a former member of the Frazeysburg Village Council. Surviving is his wife, Beatrice A. (Eppley) Blizzard, whom he married May 10, 1953, one daughter, Carla S. (Robert) Abbott of Cicero, Indiana; two sons, Wayne B. (Michelle) Blizzard of Somerset, Ohio and Thomas E. (Kathy) Blizzard of Imperial, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren, Nathan, Micah, Lydia, Joel, Susanna, Jeremiah, Daniel and Abigail Abbott, Macy and Mikey Manson, Witney, Mallory, Benjamin, Kasey and Allyson Blizzard; two sisters, Josephine Bowman and Madeline Jacobs, both of Newark, Ohio; one brother, John C. (Jane) Blizzard of Frazeysburg; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, a sister, Eleanor Sidle preceded him in death. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street, Frazeysburg. Funeral services will be 10:30am Thursday, November 17, 2005 at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Davidson officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery with Wakatomika Post #6193, VFW conducting military rites.
