A Celebration of Life service for Virginia Rose "Ginny" Owen, 95 of Newark and formerly of Coshocton will be held Saturday May 7, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. in the Three Rivers Fire District Community Center, 24199 State Route 621, Coshocton, Ohio 43812

Virginia passed away at the Selma Markowitz Care Center on Saturday October 23, 2021. She was born August 5, 1926 in Logan, OH to Raymond S. and Grace C. (Sanders) McMillen.

She was a devoted Christian and read her Bible regularly. She enjoyed vacations to visit relatives and friends. She looked forward to family gatherings during holiday celebrations.

She is survived by her children, Linda Rose (Jerry) Waugh of Buckhannon, WV, Gloria O. Johnson of Newark, Robert A. (Terri) Owen of Coshocton; grandchildren, Carmen Griffith of Buckhannon, Kellie (Chad) Carnes of Granville, Kim Waugh of New Albany, Kristofer Johnson of Columbus, Korie (TJ) McFarland of Granville, Cristy (Jay) Holmes of Sanford, NC, Bobby Owen of Lewis Center, Ashley (Andrew) Conidi of Coshocton; great-grandchildren, Nate, Chandler, Mikayla, Chase, Kylee, Alexie, Carly, Alex, Owen, Brant, Logan, Anderson, Maverick, Vale, Ellie, Emmy, Maddi; sister-in-law, Jean McMillen of Logan; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Owen; sisters, Betty Truax, Maxine Bond; brothers, Ronald (Virgie) McMillen, Allen Ray McMillen.
