Virginia (Huey) Martin, 76, of Galena, formerly of Dresden, loving wife of Forrest Martin, mother of Jay (Connie) Martin of Dresden, Jerry (Linda) Martin of Galena, Steve (Karen) Martin of Gahanna, Trudi (Mike) Lahmann of Galena passed peacefully on March 11, 2003. Born January 12, 1927 a daughter of the late Arthur and Charlotte (Mason) Huey she was preceded in death by brothers Robert, John, Donald and sister Shirley Spier and granddaughter Melanie Lahmann. She is survived by a brother, Albert Huey and grandmother to Amy, Amanda, Jared, Ryan and Jennifer Martin, Timothy, Tiffany and Tony Lahmann; sister in law to Rev. Charles Spier of Logan County, Anne Huey of Zanesville, Jean Huey of S. Zanesville, Kenneth (Clarebelle) Martin of Dresden, Richard (Mary Jo) Martin of Marysville, Norman (Marilyn) Martin of Frazeysburg, Martha Jones of San Francisco and many loving nieces and nephews. Friends may call 5-8PM Thursday March 13, 2003 at the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main St. Dresden, where services will be held at 12PM Friday with Pastor Harold Steindam officiating. Burial will follow in the Dresden Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Melanie E.
