FRAZEYSBURG ? Viola ?Vi? Hardesty, 87, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died at 9:05pm Sunday, September 11, 2005 at her home. Born October 18, 1917 in Frazeysburg, she was the daughter of the late George and Fannie (Fairall) Hamby and was a homemaker. Mrs. Hardesty was a charter member of the Frazeysburg Community Bible Church and a member of both the Frazeysburg and Dresden Senior Citizens. Surviving is four sons, Donald Hardesty of Frazeysburg, Carl (Norma Jean) Hardesty of Loudonville, Ohio, G. F. ?Bud? (Martha) Hardesty of Zanesville, Ohio and Russell (Marcia) Hardesty of Bainbridge, Georgia; one daughter, Cheryl (Ray) Back of Frazeysburg; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; sixty great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert L. ?Bert? Hardesty, whom she married April 24, 1937 and who died October 15, 1991; a daughter in-law, Carol Hardesty; one granddaughter and one great granddaughter. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street, Frazeysburg. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at the funeral home with Pastor Louis Isch officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
