Obituary

Vicki Lynne (Williams) Dysinger, 47, of Zanesville, died Saturday December 30, 2006 at Grant Medical Center from injuries received in an automobile accident on Thursday. Mrs. Dysinger was born September 4, 1959 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Dale F. Williams and Barbara (Campbell) Williams of Dresden. She was a 1977 graduate of Tri-Valley High School, a 1994 graduate of Muskingum Tech and a graduate of Ohio University-Zanesville. Mrs. Dysinger was employed with Muskingum Behavioral Health as a Prevention Specialist, working with at?risk children at several county school districts including West Muskingum, East Muskingum and Tri-Valley. Previously she had been employed at Muskingum County Head Start. Her life-long love of working with children was demonstrated by her involvement in 4-H and the Muskingum Co. Fair for 38 years. She loved helping all children and following Hurricane Katrina, she traveled to New Orleans and assisted with home renovations and worked with several neighborhood children. Her husband Rod, who worked at Blockbuster Video, and Vicki also enjoyed doing wedding photography and spending time with their family and friends. In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Rod Dysinger, whom she married June 25, 1994; daughter, Ashley Black of Zanesville; son, Adam Black of Zanesville; her brothers. Brian (Missy) Williams of Dresden, Jon (Karen) Williams of Nashport; nieces, Kelly and Kristen Williams and nephews Andrew and Austin Williams and Jonathan Pauley. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Eugene Williams. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8PM Wednesday January 3, 2007 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1PM Thursday at the JUBLIEE REVIVAL CENTER CHURCH, corner of St. rt. 60 & Northpointe Drive in south Dresden. Burial will follow in Muskingum Presbyterian Cemetery.
