Obituary

Verlin T. "Tom" Farmer, 58, of Toboso, Ohio died Monday morning, December 19, 2016 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark, Ohio.
Born December 12, 1958 in Newark he was a son of the late Thurman and Mary (Shuman) Farmer. Mr. Farmer was employed for many years as a truck driver for Hanby Farms of Nashport, a job that he truly loved and enjoyed. He also enjoyed trips to Wheeling Downs, riding motorcycles, listening to Bluegrass music and watching NASCAR. He especially enjoyed being with his family.
Surviving is one son Jason Farmer of Newark; one daughter, Samantha Phillips of Westerville, Ohio; one grandchild, Connor Stuffelbean; two brothers, Dan (Ruth Ann) Farmer of Nashport and Jack Farmer of Toboso and two nephews, Michael and Thurman Farmer.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Jimmy Rex Farmer.
Calling hours will be 11am to 1pm Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Thursday, December 22, 2106 at the funeral home with Minister Sam Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery.
