A funeral service for Twila J. Henthorn, 71 of Heath, Ohio will be 6:30 p.m. Thursday, February 27th, 2025 at Vensil & Chute Funeral Home |Newark Chapel with Pastor Chip Rudin officiating. Visitation will be observed from 3 pm to 6 pm prior to the service.

Twila passed away peacefully, Saturday February 22nd at The Laurels of Heath. She was born November 13th, 1953, in New Lexington, OH to Fred and Goldie (Lipps) Kinney.

Twila loved working with kids and babysat from her home for multiple years. She then worked and retired from Park National Bank. Twila was known for her famous homemade chicken and noodles and her pies. She was a long-time member of The Church of the Nazarene in New Lexington and Newark. Twila knew no strangers. She treated everyone with kindness and love.

Survivors include her sons, Phil Henthorn, Mark Henthorn, both of Newark; grandson, Owen Henthorn; brothers, Darwin (Darlene) Kinney of Lancaster, Darren (Rebecca) Kinney of Melbourne, FL; several nieces, nephews; great-nieces, great-nephews as well as her great friend, family dog "Reecy."

She was a devoted wife to Neil Henthorn, whom she married August 5th, 1972, and preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Daryl Kinney; brothers-in-law, Ronnie and James Henthorn.
