Twila E. Cullins, 82, of Zanesville, passed away Thursday May 27, 2010 at Emeritus At North Hills surrounded by her family.
Born April 18, 1928 in Dresden, she was the daughter of the late Harry M. and Myra G. (Mortimer) Smith. She was a 1946 graduate of Jefferson High School and a former member of the O.E.S. in Dresden and the American Legion Auxiliary to Post #399, where she had served as president. Mrs. Cullins was a member of the Dresden Madison Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her children, Michael (Debi) Smith of Nashport, Larry W. (Peggy) Cullins of Nashport, Kelly (James) Clark of Granville, Robert W. â??Chipâ? (Shannon) Cullins, II of Zanesville; grandchildren, David M. (Emily) Smith, Libby A. Cullins, Joseph D. Clark, Caleb J. Clark, Abby (Andrew) Murphy, Katie Cullins, Tori Cullins; a great granddaughter, Ava Marie Murphy; a sister, June (the late Robert) Lacy of Dresden and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. â??Bobâ? Cullins on Feb. 24, 2002; a brother Wayne F. â??Buckâ? Smith and two sisters, Margery and Myrville Smith.
Friends may call 1:30-2:30PM Monday May 31, 2010 at the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home in Dresden, where services will follow at 2:30PM at the funeral home with Dr. William McClelland officiating. Burial will follow in the Dresden Cemetery.
