Travis M. Mohler, 52, of Frazeysburg, Ohio, died Thursday morning, March 9, 2023 at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville.

Born June 2, 1970 in Zanesville, Ohio he was a son of the late William "Bid" and Jeanne E. (Brown) Mohler and a 1988 graduate of Tri-Valley High School.  Travis worked for The Longaberger Company for 20 years, Dollar General for 9 years and most recently as grounds keeper for Vista View Golf Course.  He enjoyed watching western and war movies, especially John Wayne movies.  Travis enjoyed history, the outdoors and was an avid golfer.  He would carry his golf clubs with him from April until late September to make sure he didn't miss an opportunity to play a round of golf.  Travis loved spending time around the fire with his family and friends.

Surviving is his loving wife, Amy D. (Childress) Mohler, whom he married May 21, 1994; a daughter, Tacey (Johnathon) Firewick of Coshocton, Ohio; five sisters, Nancee (John) Bay of Frazeysburg, Karen (Mike) Wright of Dresden, Tina (Bill) Binkley of Adamsville, Randi Mohler of Zanesville, and Tacey Mohler-Griffin of Wisconsin; four brothers, Skip Mohler of Nashport, Dave (Carolyn) Mohler of Frazeysburg, Tom (Kathy) Emerson and Troy (Debbie) Emerson both of Adamsville; a "brother from another mother", Travis (Julie) Sterling; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of Travis's life will be held at a later date.
