Anthony A. "Tony" Guinsler, 59 of Newark passed away June 23, 2023 at Licking Memorial Hospital surrounded by his children and family members. Tony was born December 3, 1963 in Newark to the late Jerry and Jean (Dew) Guinsler.

Tony was a 1982 graduate of Newark Catholic High School where he was active on the football team. He attended college at University of Wisconsin-Superior and Capital University. He served in the U.S. Army as a member of the Honor Guard in Washington, D.C. Tony completed his working career at Meritor in Heath.

Survivors include his children, Victoria, Austin, Alivia, Marshal; brothers, Mike (Becky) Guinsler, Bob (Robin) Guinsler, P.J. (Mary) Guinsler, Charlie Guinsler; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry "Corky" Guinsler in 1976.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday July 14, 2023 at the Newark Moose Lodge #499, 235 W. National Drive, Newark.
