Timothy P. "Tim" Lollo, 64 of Newark passed away on Saturday February 25, 2023 at the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital following a brief battle with cancer. He was born March 28, 1958 in Springfield, OH to Patrick J. and Shirley (Shirkey) Lollo.

Tim retired completing 35 years associated with the Licking County Engineer's Office, serving from 1990 until 2012 as the Licking County Engineer. Wade Morgan influenced his career at the age of 14 when he began assisting with surveying. He was a 1976 graduate of Heath High School. He was a member of the All County Golf Team. He was a 1980 graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Civil Engineering. He held dual licensure as a professional engineer and professional surveyor. He was a founding member of the Newark Darting League and Licking County Republican Patriots Club. He was a former member of the Newark Maennerchor and Newark Moose. He was a supporter of Camp O'Bannon and served on several area civic boards over the years. Tim loved baseball and was commissioner of his fantasy baseball league for 30 years. His favorite team being the Cubs followed by the Reds. He was a steadfast listener to 700WLW. He currently is a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and Newark Elks Lodge #391.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Mary Ann (Janks) Lollo; daughter, Stephana (Benjamin) Reed; expected grandson, Parker; brother, Brad (Connie) Lollo; niece, Amber (Scott) Petersen; nephew, Steven Lollo; brothers-in-law, Thomas Janks, Jim (Connie) Janks; close friends, Jill Ries, Cody Carlyle; loving cats, Emily, Ethel, Nikki and Boots.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Frank & Margaret Janks; sister, Kelly Lollo.

A visitation will be observed Friday March 3, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. with celebrant Deacon Rev. Mr. Patrick Wilson.
