Thomas “Tom” Eugene Williams, 79, of Trinway, Ohio died Sunday night, April 19, 2026 at his home.

Born February 21, 1947 in Zanesville, Ohio, he was a son of the late Bryce Harwell and Leona Maxine (Gray) Williams and a 1965 graduate of Jefferson High School. Tom was a member of Meadow View Church of Christ and help create and run Williams Excavating. He liked to hunt, fish, and be ornery. Tom’s sense of humor was well known, and he enjoyed making others laugh. He would spend his free time restoring vintage vehicles and even made sure each of his grandkids had a vintage car of their own. Tom could often be found supporting his grandkids at their various events. Even though he did like to have fun, he was an extremely hard worker and took pride in providing for his family. He loved his family so much and he will be greatly missed.

Surviving is his loving wife, Elizabeth Diane (Gulley) Williams whom he married August 5, 1967; son, Ryan (Rebecca) Williams of Trinway; daughter, Angie (Chris) Unger of Adamsville; four grandchildren, Thomas Ethan Williams, Emma Leigh Pickens, William Thomas Pickens, and Ellie Maureen Williams; a sister, Anita (Bob) Rector and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Williams and two sisters, Marilyn King and Debbie Angelo.

A private graveside funeral service will take place at Prospect Cemetery with Minister Sam Dunn officiating.
