FRAZEYSBURG ? Thomas D. ?Tom? Riley, 74, of Dresden, Ohio died Friday morning, July 31, 2009 at Autumn Health Care of Zanesville. Born July 5, 1935 in Zanesville, he was the son of the late Joseph G. and Helen (Lane) Riley and was a 1955 graduate of Frazeysburg High School. Mr. Riley was a retired agent with the B & O, Chessie System and CSX Railroad with 37 years of service. He was a member of the Muskingum Presbyterian Church, Irville Lodge 184, F. & A. M., Scottish Rite, Valley of Cambridge, Aladdin Shrine Temple of Columbus, the Sons of The American Legion and was a Kentucky Colonel. Surviving is his wife of 54 years, Erma M. (Wagner) Riley, whom he married June 26, 1955; one son and daughter in-law, Ron and Raejean Riley of Dresden; one daughter and son in-law, Christy and Steve Little of Warsaw, Ohio; four grandchildren, Josh (Miriam Skeen) Riley of Zanesville, Stephanie (Mitch McFarland) Riley of Dresden, Shane (Alyssa Mauk) Foster of Zanesville and Gary (Jackie) Foster, Jr. of Adamsville, Ohio; three great grandchildren, Blaze and Breeze Foster and Marisa Riley McFarland and one great grandchild on the way; two adopted great grandchildren, Jayana and Jordan Pantello; two brothers, Jerry L. Riley of Dresden and James G. Riley of Stow, Ohio; a special aunt, Martha Cameron of Frazeysburg; a brother in-law and sister in-law, Bob and Barbara Wagner and a brother in-law, Harry Higgins, all of Zanesville; many special friends and two extra special friends, Steve and Nicole Harris of Zanesville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Alice Riley, and George and Nellie Lane; father in-law and mother in-law, Major B. and Mildred Wagner; sisters in-law, Betty Wagner, Mary L. Higgins and Karen Riley; three uncles; two aunts and several cousins. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm Monday, August 3, 2009 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Irville Lodge 184 will conduct Masonic services at 6:30pm Monday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at the funeral home with Dr. James A.
