Thomas A. Schindler, 84, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Thursday morning, November 4, 2021 at Clay Gardens Assisted Living Center in Zanesville, Ohio.

Born December 15, 1936 in Wooster, Ohio, he was a son of the late Arnold H. and Audrey E. (Marks) Schindler and was a 1954 graduate of Fresno High School.  Mr. Schindler was retired from RR Donnelly Company of Hebron, Ohio where he was a computer programmer and he was a member of the Frazeysburg United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed woodworking and was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoying hunting and fishing.

Surviving is his loving wife of 60 years, Barbara A. (Stiteler) Schindler whom he married August 26, 1961; three sons, Steven (Sheryl) Schindler of Frazeysburg, Scott (Tia) Schindler and Stacy (Stacy) Schindler, both of Pataskala, Ohio; six grandchildren; one sister, Janice Eichenauer of Newark, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Rex Schindler; a sister Patricia Hothem and a daughter in-law, Carla Schindler.

There will be no public calling hours.

Graveside funeral services will be at NOON Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at South Lawn Cemetery in Coshocton, Ohio with Pastor John Kay officiating.
