Thomas Rogers, 79, of Coshocton, Ohio died Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at his home.
Born March 23, 1932 in Pleasant Valley, Ohio he was a son of the late Samuel D. and Helen P. (Dover) Rogers. Mr. Rogers retired in 1987 from General Electric of Coshocton where he had worked for 37 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Eagles of Coshocton.
Surviving is one son and daughter in-law, Samuel and Teresa Rogers of Granville, Ohio; two grandsons, Jared and Logan Rogers; a half brother Joe Barrick of Minerva, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Martha (Wilcox) Rogers whom he married April 29, 1952 and who died July 3, 1979; two brothers, Victor and Dick Rogers and two half brothers, Jack and Bob Barrick.
Calling hours will be from Noon to 2:00pm Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.
