Terry R. Hatfield, 52, of Adamsville, died at 2:42PM Friday August 22, 2003 in the CCU at Genesis Good Samaritan following a heart attack suffered earlier in the day. He was born September 7, 1950 in Zanesville, a son of the late Marion ?Friday? Hatfield and Hazel (Mox) Hatfield of Adamsville. A 1968 graduate of Tri-Valley High School, he enlisted in the US Air Force and served during the Viet Nam Era. For over twenty-five years he drove concrete trucks and was employed by Apache Ready Mix. He was a member of the Adamsville United Methodist Church and formerly ran with the Adamsville Community Fire Department and Squad. Surviving are his wife, Judith L. (Frick) Hatfield, whom he married March 9, 1974; sons, Austin Hatfield of Zanesville, Michael Hatfield of Coshocton; eight grandchildren, Asia Hatfield, Candace and Josie Hatfield, Michael Hatfield, Jr., Garrett and Tristan McDermott, Christelle Lesher and Christian Hatfield; brothers and sisters, James (Joan) Hatfield of Zanesville, Mary (Dr. Phil) Mozena of Newcomerstown, Jr. (Mary Jo) Hatfield, Jane (Delmar) Dutro, David (Judy) Hatfield, Jean (Vern) Hittle, Earl (Diane) Hatfield all of Adamsville, Mitch (Linda) Hatfield of Chandlersville, Randy (Patty) Hatfield of Norwich, Rocky (Vickie) Hatfield of Adamsville, Mona (Allen) West of Zanesville, Patty (Duane) Brock of Zanesville, Lynn (Cindy) Hatfield of Zanesville, Rita (Tom) Lazar of Nashport, nieces, nephews and many, many friends. An infant brother, Kenneth, preceded him in death. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-9PM Sunday August 24, 2003 at the Adamsville Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2PM at the Adamsville U. Methodist Church with Pastor Bracken Foster officiating, burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery.
