DRESDEN – Tamra Kay Swope, 56, of Dresden, Ohio died Tuesday morning, April 17, 2012 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Born November 17, 1955 in Zanesville, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Calvin Bice and Gyneth (Acord) Bice of Zanesville and was a graduate of Tri-Valley High School. She was employed in the occupational health department at Genesis HealthPlex. Tamra was a member of the Well Ministries of Nashport and her greatest enjoyment was her grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons and daughters in-law, Adam and Beth Swope of Dresden and Lance and Erin Swope of Philo, Ohio; two grandchildren, Hannah and Averie Swope; a brother Philip (Debra) Bice of Dresden; several nieces and nephews and many close friends.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, April 20, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Steven Wollard officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.
