Obituary

Tammy (Ross) Ashcraft, 50, of Adamsville, died Friday afternoon, July 14, 2023 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Born August 28, 1972 in Zanesville, she was a daughter of Larry Ross and the late Linda (Gill) Ross. Tammy was a 1991 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and was a medical assistant for Dresden Family Health Care for 27 years.  She was a 4H Advisor for over 20 years and a member of the Adamsville United Methodist Church.  Tammy enjoyed camping and was a sideline softball coach, never missing a game to cheer on her girls.

Surviving is her father, Larry Ross; three daughters, Lindsay, Jenna and Macy Ashcraft; a son, Jacob Ashcraft; two grandsons, Caron Bowen and Jacob Phillip Jr.; her brother, Mike Ross; her mother-in-law, Diana Ashcraft; two brothers-in-law, Jim (Martha) Ashcraft and Rodney (Trisha) Ashcraft; a sister-in-law, Dixie (Ben) Gee and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, Tammy was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Phillip W. Ashcraft, who died July 12, 2022 and whom she married on August 26, 1995 and father-in-law, Jim Ashcraft.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jenna and Macy Ashcraft's College Fund at any Park National Bank.

Friends and family may call from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, Monday, July 17, 2023 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 11:00am with Minister Sam Dunn officiating.

Tammy will be laid to rest next to her husband, Phil at Heaven's Gate Cemetery, Adamsville.
