A funeral service for Suzanne J. Davis, 57 of Mansfield will be held Monday March 22, 2004 at 8:00 p.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Deacon Jack Elam officiating. Mrs. Davis died Thursday March 18, 2004 at the Columbus Rehabilitation and Subacute Center. She was born December 13, 1946 in Rochester, New York to the late Jack Shipley and Jane (Savage) Shipley-DePartie. Mrs. Davis a former Newark resident resided with her son. She enjoyed painting, was a homemaker and attended St. Francis DeSales Church. Survivors include four sons, Joseph (Caroline) Pyatt of Mansfield, Darrin Pyatt of Zanesville, Jason Pyatt of Phoenix, Arizona, Noah Davis of Newark; three grandchildren, Fawn, Kyle, Alison Pyatt; step-father, Jack DePartie of Canada; sisters, Linda (Ron) Martin of Salt Lake City, Utah, Sherry (Jerry) Beard of Indianapolis, Indiana; brothers, Jack (Linda) Shipley of South Carolina, Jim Shipley of Newark and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be observed Monday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home 1850 West Main Street Newark, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
