Susan Lynn Mather-Helgeland, 59, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Saturday, November 20, 2021 at her home.

Born March 27, 1962 in Belleville, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Charles Wilson and Julia Narulski of Peshtigo, Wisconsin.

The greatest joy of her life was her son and his family and she deeply loved her husband.  She had many friends and she charmed everyone with whom she came in contact.  Her favorite pastime was losing herself in AMC Classic movies.  Honest and strong-willed, Susan lived fearlessly and she gave 100% to everything she did.  Her life's passion was taking care of her home and all her animals.  She rescued over 50 cats, took in ducks, dogs, rabbits, birds and any other animal that her heart could not resist.

Surviving in addition to her mother is her loving husband, Paul Helgeland; her loving son and daughter in-law, Marcus John and Whitney Lynn Wilson of Tupelo, Mississippi; four grandchildren, Leigha, Alexis, Gavin and Amelia Wilson; two sisters, April (Paul) Marchant of Apache Junction, Arizona and Julie Wilson of Peshtigo, Wisconsin and two brothers, Mike Wilson of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Steve (Susan) Wilson of Virginia Beach, Virginia.  Also surviving are her nieces and nephews, Adam and Chris Marchant and Matthew and Emily Wilson.

Friends may call from 3pm to 4pm Friday, November 26, 2021 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.

Funeral services will be 4:00pm Friday, November 26, 2021 at the funeral home with Susan's son, Marcus Wilson officiating.
