Steven D. Lacy, 72, of Dresden, died Wednesday afternoon, July 7, 2021 at the Oaks at North Pointe, Zanesville.

Born June 8, 1949 in Zanesville, he was the son of the late Kenneth "Bud" and Louise (Lewis) Lacy and a Tri-Valley graduate, class of 1967. He was a United States Air Force and Army Veteran and retired after 30 years of service at the post office.  Steve enjoyed watching NASCAR, Cleveland Indians and The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Surviving is a sister, Jeanette (Roger) Cody of Frazeysburg; a daughter, Susan (Lyndsey) Boudrie of Michigan; his step-mother, June Lacy; two step-grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren; two step-sisters, Sonya Annette Strange and Chris Lyons; nieces and nephews, Keith (Lori) Cody and Kelly (Matt) Weiser; great nieces and nephews, Renae (Logan) Lacy, Trevor Cody, Jana (Brian) Tsen, Matt (Brittany Wolford) West and Trent and Brad Weiser; and a great friend and biking buddy, Pat Ripple.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Allen and John R. Lacy and nephew, Ryan Hamilton.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Primrose and The Oaks at Northpointe for their excellent care.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
