A private family service will be held for Stephen L. Ryan, 49 of Frazeysburg who passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Licking Memorial Hospital. Stephen was born July 28, 1971 in Mt. Vernon, OH.

He currently was employed for 21 years with TS Tech in Reynoldsburg serving as a materials team leader. He was a former member of the Army National Guard trained as a cannonier. He studied Business and Accounting at Mt. Vernon Nazarene University

Stephen enjoyed outdoor activities including camping, gardening and fishing. He took great pleasure in cooking especially grilling. He had a great affection for his cats and dogs. He delighted in watching Sci-Fi movies and playing video games. He was devoted to his family.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years Kelly J. (Blubaugh) Ryan; sons, Austin L. (Brianna Evans) Ryan, Cody M. Ryan all of Frazeysburg; mother and step-father, Deborah (Jeffrey) Cunningham of Mt, Vernon; brother, Todd (Tracey) Ryan of Mt. Vernon; step-sister, Kimberly Cunningham of AL; half-brother, Christopher (Jasmine) Cunningham of Howard; uncles, Tom Ryan of Mt. Vernon, David (Sherry) Ryan of Fredericktown; many nieces and nephews; extended family, mother-in-law, Betty Rodriguez of Newark; sisters, Tabitha Rodriguez of CO, Teresa Rodriguez of Newark; niece, Nevaeh Holzmeister of CO.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Ryan; daughter, Shania C. Ryan; grandparents, George (Opal) Ryan, Albert (Carrie) Bodnar; great-grandmothers, Lovie Stringfelllow, Anna Bodnar; aunt, Judy Ryan; brother, Timothy Ryan; step-brother, Jeffrey Cunningham; half-brother, Mark Cunningham
