Stella M. Booth Gomez, 85, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Monday morning, December 3, 2018 at her home.

Born May 26, 1933 in Ashland, Kentucky she was a daughter of the late Jay and Ethel (Lemons) Evans and was a 1951 graduate of Hanover High School. She was a member of Perry Chapel Baptist Church.  Stella worked as a waitress for many years at L & K Restaurant and worked banquets at Howard Johnston's and Licking County Trout Club.  She also worked at Ohio Plastics in Frazeysburg.  Stella enjoyed flower gardening, flea markets and antiques.

Surviving are two daughters, Connie Dobson of Zanesville, Ohio and Lynn (Dean) Wilson of Frazeysburg; two sons, Roy Lee (Lanora) Booth of Phoenix, Arizona and Ron (Peggy) Booth of Hanover, Ohio; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Amy (Norman) Shepler of Frazeysburg, Alma Binckley of Newark, Ohio and Roma Grigsby of Frazeysburg; a special neighbor, Sue Bussey and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy L. Booth whom she married June 2, 1951 and who died March 5, 1979, her second husband, Jose Gomez whom she married July 3, 1981 and who died November 27, 1998; a granddaughter, Ronda Booth; three sisters and four brothers.

Calling hours will be 6pm to 8pm Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the funeral home with Chaplain Bill Jones officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
