FRAZEYSBURG ? Funeral services for Stella D. ?Grannie? Ayers, 80, of Frazeysburg, Ohio will be at 1:00pm Monday, March 15, 2004 at the Meadow View Church of Christ in Frazeysburg with Ministers Lyle Lipps and David Crist officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery. Mrs. Ayers died Friday evening, March 12, 2004 at her home. Born March 23, 1923 in Graysville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harry E. and Mattie Bell (Mobberley) Hall. Mrs. Ayers retired in 1980 as a molder with The Ohio Plastics Company of Frazeysburg and she was a member of the Meadow View Church of Christ in Frazeysburg. Surviving is one son, Chauncey (Brenda) Ayers of Chesapeake, Virginia; four daughters, Norma (Tad) Lupher of Warsaw, Ohio, Ruth (Bill) Harper of Frazeysburg, Dianne (Bill) Huston of Zanesville, Ohio and Patti Nethers of Frazeysburg; one brother, Floyd (Dorothia) Hall of Graysville; four sisters, Leona Beardmore and Maxine Marshall, both of Marietta, Ohio, Lottie Scott and Clarice (Chester) DeVore, both of Canton, Ohio; brothers in-law and sisters in-law, Ralph (Marjorie) Lindamood of Massillon, Ohio, Melvin (Laura) Ayers of Sycamore Valley, Ohio and Rosalie Ayers of Sardis, Ohio; twenty-two grandchildren; forty-two great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and her kitty, ?Gracie?. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold L. Ayers, whom she married June 17, 1939 and who died August 12, 1983; a son in-law, George Nethers on April 22, 2001; a brother Mervin Hall and two sisters, Grethel Gray and Martha Lee Hall. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm Sunday, March 14, 2004 at Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home 110 West Third Street, Frazeysburg.
