A funeral service for Stacie Lee Hinton, 45 of Newark will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2009 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home. Burial will be at Prairie Chapel Cemetery, Coshocton. Stacie died unexpectedly Saturday at her home. She was born July 16, 1963 to the late James Hinton and Myrna (Crouso) Merchant. Survivors include her loving friend, Gary McLaughlin of Newark; step-mother, Carolyn Hinton of Kentucky; step-father, Jack Merchant of Newark; and an aunt, Ruth Hinsley of Johnstown. In addition to her parents, Stacie was preceded in death by a son, Ryan J. Hinton. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
