A memorial service for Shirley A. Tanner, 71 of Newark will be held at a later date.Mrs. Tanner died Wednesday July 7, 2004 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born April 8, 1933 in Hardin County, Ohio to the late Wayne E. and Myrtle I. (Caskey) Brewer.Survivors include her daughter, Darlene Broseus of Homer; brother, Donald (Madeline) Brewer of West Covina, California; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.A brother Emit Brewer and two sisters, Mary Brown and Myrtle Roberts, preceded Mrs.Tanner in death.The family requests memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
