NEWARK - A funeral service for Shirley A. Billig, 75 of Newark will be held at a later date in Hatboro, Penn. Mrs. Billig died February 1, 2005 at Arlington Nursing Home in Newark. She was born September 25, 1929 to the late Albert D. and Hannah F. (Hutchinson) Barth. Mrs. Billig was a skilled and devoted homemaker. Survivors include two daughters; Linda (Michael) Binger of Newark, and Amy (Greg) Kressler of Perkasie, Penn.; one son, Mark (Melanie) Billig Jr. of Chalfont, Penn.; seven grandchildren, Andrew, AmyBeth, Jennifer, David, Steven, Brent, and Hunter; and a great grandson, Nautas. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Billig was preceded in death by her husband Mark W. Billig; a grandson, Gregory Kressler; and a sister. The Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
