Sharon S. Lacy "Mouse" Young, 64, of Nashport, Ohio died Friday afternoon, March 25, 2016 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.
Born July 1, 1951 in Zanesville she was a daughter of the late James E. Lacy and Larcina (Newcome) Lacy of Nashport. Sharon was a 1969 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and was an Emergency Medical Technician. She was a member of Frazeysburg Lions Club and the American Legion Auxiliary of Dresden. She enjoyed racing, horseback riding and attending her grandchildren's sporting events.
Surviving in addition to her mother is her husband, Alan D. Young whom she married August 24, 2013; a daughter, Kimberly (J. D. Kelly) Vickers of Frazeysburg; a son, Kari (Darci) Kessler of Dresden; nine grandchildren, Ryan (Tessa) Vickers, Jessica (Jonathan) Clapper, Damien (Hallie) Vickers, Jared Kelly, Kari E. Kessler, Cheyenne Kessler, Ericka Black, Casie Prince and Morgan Prince; six great grandchildren, Landon, Logan, Todd, Jr., Camie, Myah and Talon; two sisters, Carolyn (Harold) Brizendine of Belpre, Ohio and Donna (John) Fulton of Nashport; her step mother in-law, Paulette Young of Frazeysburg and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her faithful pets, "Remi", "Scooter" and "Sweet Pea".
In addition to father she was preceded in death by her father in-law and mother in-law, James A. Young and Phyllis Young.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
The American Legion Auxiliary will conduct services at 8pm followed by Lions service, conducted by Frazeysburg Lions.
