Sharon K. Henderson, 74, of Dresden, Ohio died Sunday morning, January 7, 2018 at her home. Her loving family was at her side.
Born October 4, 1943 in Zanesville, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Orville and Opal (Wickham) Thomas. Mrs. Henderson was a former employee of the Longaberger Company where she was a form maker and a basket weaver. Sharon's greatest love was all activities involving her family, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving is her loving husband of over 55 years, Larry J. Henderson whom she married April 13, 1962; three daughters, Pam (Shawn) Fry of Warsaw, Ohio, Cyndi (Shawn) West of Coshocton, Ohio and Teresa (Randy) Adkins of Frazeysburg, Ohio; one son, Jerry Henderson of Nashport; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Also surviving are five sisters, Lola Durant, Delores Efaw, Marge Efaw and Joyce (Donald) Robbins, all of Zanesville and Betty Cagle of Haleyville, Alabama and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son Charles Henderson and six brothers.
Calling hours will be 4pm to 7pm Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the funeral home with Minister Sam Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.
