A graveside service for Sharon K. Boggs, 61 of Newark will be held Thursday January 18, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Wilson Cemetery with Pastor Tom Myers officiating. Mrs. Boggs died Tuesday January 16, 2007 at her residence. She was born June 15, 1945 in New Salem, Ohio to the late Clarence Steele and Freda L. (Hall) Steele-Burkett. Mrs. Boggs was a former seamstress with Fyrepel. She was a former nurse?s aide at Alterra Sterling House. Sharon enjoyed the time she spent helping people. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Edgar L. Boggs; daughter, Katrina (Beck) Yantis of Heath; granddaughter, Jillian Yantis; brothers, Clarence Steele, Mitchell Steele, Robert Steele, Manual Burkett; sisters, Dreama Bennett, Jean Forrest, Nancy Wright, Robin Burkett; many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be observed Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 at the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 1850 West Main Street.
