NEWARK: A memorial service celebrating the life of Sara J. Graham, 72 of Newark will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 14, 2010 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with her son in-law, Mitch Thomas officiating. Friends and family are invited to join in a luncheon reception immediately following the service in the Vensil-Orr & Chute Family Center.

Mrs. Graham died Monday, May 3, 2010 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born December 10, 1937 in Demmitt, Texas to the late Joseph and Corene (Cammack) Smith. She worked for many years in food service at Denison University; mainly in Curtis Dining Hall. She has also worked for St. Edward parish in Granville. Mrs. Graham was hard working and dedicated, whatever the endeavor; be it home, family, or work. She enjoyed gardening, reading, puzzles, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her four daughters, Terri (Larry) Galigher of Newark, Tina (John) Lowery of Sheffield Village, Linda (Mitch) Thomas of Leclaire, IA, and Lisa (Daniel) Orr of Newark; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, Pat (Deb) Smith of Dawn, TX; sisters, Ginger Jones of Amarillo, TX and Jeannette Benson of Pilot Point, TX.

Friends and family may call one hour prior to the service Friday at Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
