Obituary
Sandra K. Williams, 71, formerly of Newark, Ohio died Thursday morning, August 24, 2017 at the home of her daughter in New Lexington, Ohio.
Born June 18, 1946 in Shawnee, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Theda Mae (Peyton) Simpson. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading and being with her family.
Surviving are three daughters, Lisa Williams of Frazeysburg, Ohio, Billie (Joseph) Browett of Newark and Paula (Jeremy) Shriner of New Lexington; six grandchildren, Kendra, Stephanie, Hunter, Katelyn, Gage and Kaylee; one great grandchild, Preston; four brothers, Barry Simpson, Jim (Rose) Simpson and Mike (Debbie) Simpson, all of Newark and Kevin (Shelly) Simpson of Buckeye Lake, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Paul L. Williams whom she married July 25, 1964 and who died June 17, 2014 and two brothers, Rick Simpson and Rod Simpson.
There will be no calling hours.
Graveside funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday, August 28, 2017 at Smith Chapel Cemetery, near Reform, with the Rev. Justin Van Orman officiating.
