Obituary
A funeral service celebrating the life of Sandra E. Watson-Lancaster, 56 of Pickerington, formerly of Newark will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Trinity A.M.E. Church, 64 East Church Street, Newark with Rev. Michael C. Menefield officiating.
Sandy passed away peacefully at her home in Pickerington. Born, October 29, 1956 in Jenkin Jones, WV to the late Guster L. and Helen (Spear) Watson, Sandy was a 1975 graduate of Newark High School. She retired from Arvin-Meritor.
Survived by her daughter, E'leana Irwin of Houston, TX; four siblings, Guster L. Watson, Jr. of Georgia, Diane A. Watson of Newark, Charles E. Watson of Georgia, and Lillian D. Watson-Saunders of Newark.
She also leaves to cherish her memory, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clifford A. Lancaster; and a brother, Michael K. Watson.
Friends may visit 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main St, Newark.
