Sandra "Sandy" Jean Cross, 86, of Adamsville, died Monday morning, November 11, 2024, at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville.

Born September 3, 1938, in Zanesville, she was the daughter of the late Ralph "Dale" and Helen Irene (Combs) McCutcheon and a 1957 graduate of Zanesville High School. Sandy was a devoted homemaker, Christian and a member of the Salem Community Church.

Surviving are two sons, James (Jill) Cross and Kevin (Acelia) Dreier; two daughters, Amy (Darryl) Lane and Kandie (Eric) Gates; eight grandchildren, Chase and Samantha Cross, Courtney (TJ) Edwards, Bailey Saxton, Katie Gates, Jeremy (Heather) Krasky, Joshua Krasky, and Slade Lane; and four great grandchildren; and a brother, Ron (Cathy) McCutcheon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Robert Cross, who died July 21, 2018; and a brother, Robert "Bob" McCutcheon.

Family and friends may visit 5:00-8:00pm, Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, November 15, 2024, with one hour of visiting prior to the service at the funeral home with Rev. Wayne Hogue officiating.

Sandy will be laid to rest next to her husband at Heaven's Gate Cemetery, Adamsville.
