NEWARK: Sandra Chesser, 68 of Newark died Sunday morning, November 7, 2010 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center in Newark. She was born November 2, 1942 in Newark to the late Willard and Hazel (Bebout) Jeffers. A 1960 graduate of Licking Valley High School; Sandy was a homemaker, taking great joy in her family. She was a member of the Marne United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her children, David Chesser of Hanover, Kimberly (Mike) Mosholder of Newark, Natalie (Tony) Scott of Pataskala, Kendra (Todd) Park of Reynoldsburg, and Tonya Chesser of Reynoldsburg; grandchildren, Misty and Brandon Mosholder; Anthony, Hanna, and Kailyn Scott, Brittany, Jessica, Olivia, Blake, Mikayla, Luke, Zion and Bella Park, Grant and Grace Chesser; great-grandchildren Shaylin and Jeran; and her former husband and father of her children, Phil Chesser of Newark.

In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by a brother, David Jeffers.

Friends and family may call 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 11, 2010 at VENSIL-ORR & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 12, 2010 at the funeral home with Pastor Gus Christo-Baker and Pastor Chris Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
